Consultation
Consultation can be extremely helpful, and often necessary, for clinicians who need clarification, insight, and guidance for difficult cases, or who just need someone who will listen to and understand the issues that arise in the course of practicing psychotherapy. I have worked as a consultant for many fellow therapists who are involved with problematic clinical issues/clients and who need support of one kind or another. Some of these issues include personality disorders, addictions and complex family dynamics. I offer both theoretical insight and very practical suggestions in dealing with a wide variety of problems that psychotherapists often face in the course of their professional lives.
